Great Clips Online Check-in App Reviews

Hi there. Bring some new features like apple wallet. Passbook. Cant check the balance on app. Having card in pocket is old fashion. Bring something new. Will give 5 star.

Checked my kids in online with a zero minute wait. Arrived at location 3 minutes later and the wait was 15 minutes anyway. Online check-in was pointless. Location was in Mission BC.

The app doesnt appear to offer anyway to actually check in for a haircut. After entering in all of my information I still cant find a way to ask for an appointment at my chosen salon.

App wont even start. Waste of time.

This use to be a good app. It will no longer load up. Ive deleted and reinstalled and it still doesnt work.

This is a good, not great, app. Its been consistent for me each time Ive used it. I have been able to check in and save myself a few minutes during my visits. Like others have shared, it would be great to have a history of my check-ins and visits. I always get that question from the stylists and Im never quite sure how long it has been since my last cut. Today was the first time I had a cut from a stylist I would like to request exclusively. It would be nice if there was at least a notes area for each location where I could enter the name(s) of my favorite stylist(s). I was given a card with her handwritten name. But, I dont keep paper cards so I simply added a new contact on my phone. It would be much more efficient to have the information stored in the app. Even better would be to be able to request a specific stylist. All in all, the app has done what it indicates in the description. No more. No less. A solid 3 stars.

In the past this app has worked great, but had the ridiculous experience of having the app quote me a 40 minute wait but be told by the staff once i got there that the app only holds your spot for 30 minutes, even if the wait time is longer than 30 minutes. Whos the genius coming up with these business practices?

The app works fine for the most part, sometimes the est. wait time is off but otherwise its fine. The reason for the low stars is because it should allow you to add family members. I should be able to check my kids in with me from the app. Seems like an easy fix

This used to work well. Now its completely nonfunctional. My opinion of the entire chain has decreased markedly as a result of this app.

Terrible app. Will never go back to Great Clips because of this app. It showed a 1 min wait when I checked in on line. When air got there I waited 10 minutes for the people in the chairs to get done and the 2 more people came in after me and went ahead of me. After 45 minutes I finally got in a chair. Far from 1 minute wait. My time is more valuable than this.

Ive been very pleased every time I use this app. Im glad Great Clips has something like this to shave tremendously the time it takes me to get a shave

I love the fact that I can use my driving time as my wait time, instead of waiting around in the lobby. I always check in as I leave work, and if they arent ready for me when I walk in, I usually only have to wait about 5 minutes once Im in the salon. Great time saver, great app!

Dont know what the other reviewers are talking about. It worked perfectly the first time I used it. I found the nearest location and entered in my name/phone/# of people. When I got to the salon, my name was in the system. No problem here.

The last couple of times Ive arrived early and waited outside in my car (having 10 mins more to wait). Then I watch as people walk in and my wait time increases on the app. This is not like making an appointment. It seems like it was not functioning like this in the past. Today I went from a 10 min wait to nearly 30 minute wait.

This app is worse than useless! It may actually be a threat to civilization. It will tell you a location has no waiting, youll go there and find two dozen people signed in with a two hour wait. Youll show them the app that says "walk in" and theyll stare at you with deer in the headline look and say "I du no"...save your sanity and skip it.

The App is basically worthless as the mapping feature it uses to choose the location near you is so stupidly broken and so far off that you spend more time trying to find the location you are actually next to than you would if you just had Google or Siri dial the phone number of closest Great Clips and verbally put in-line your reservation.

Since installing the latest update the app will not open. It just sits there with a spinning wheel and does nothing. 5 other people in the waiting area at the local Great Clips today had the exact same issue.

Does what it says, gets you checked in, but the wait time function could use some love. Arrived with2 minutes left, had to wait 10-15 after that. I dont mind waiting, just like to know how long.

Love this app! It lets me sign in to their wait list when Im on my way for a haircut! You pick your location, sign in with how many guests and it gives you an estimated wait time. When you arrive, you are already on the list just like you walked in and put your name down. You dont go to the top of the list, nor do they skip anyone on the list, they simply follow it in the order you signed in whether it be online or a walk in. They do not take appointments so its simply a time saver to get your name on the list, simple and easy! You want to get there as close to the estimated wait time as possible and you shouldnt have to wait long, keep in mind it is an estimate and some haircuts might take longer than others! All in all a great app and a great way to get the family in for back to school haircuts!

Thanks for updating to work on iOS10. This app saves me plenty of time and allows me to see how busy the local store is and plan accordingly. Never had a problem with my check-in. Recommend.
