No matter how functional the app is you have total dependency on the retail locations regarding actual wait times. In my case double the wait time indicated on the app for the appointment scheduled and add 20 minutes and that should be your expectation. Great Clips needs a business plan not an app.

The great clips I went to after signing on in the app was still no where close to me on the list when I came in. The first 10 customers in line were check in online but not present, the thing that they would slowly trickle in and the online check in really worked against itself. Very frustrating. The app also is not the cleanest by manageable to book a appointment.

You really need to add the ability to select which stylist you prefer. Some people go to great clips to get a cheap haircut and dont care who they get. Others such as myself prefer to have the stylist who cuts my hair the way I like. It would be much better if we could choose that person right when we check in.

Second time Ive used it and second time I was told an additional 20 mins when I arrived. At least if I just walked in, I would be mentally prepared for a wait. Seriously, dont waste my time!

I like the idea of this app, but its almost impossible to tell which location is which. The map is very vague. Add the specific locations and it would be perfect.

This app has saved me so much time! Not to mention, its incredibly easy to use! Ever since Ive downloaded the app, I havent once gone to Great Clips without checking in first!

This app is great!!! Walked in, already checked in on the monitor and was getting my hair cut in less than 5 minutes.

I work for great clips and check the wait time on the app frequently to let me know if they are busy and I need to come in early or if any of our other shops are busy and need help. Great clips does not set appointments. Signing in online just puts your name on the wait list. If your wanting a certain stylist the app gives you the salons number so you can call ahead and get stylist schedule for the week. Great clips is set up to keep notes in the system associated by your phone number. It is important to include your accurate number that you will remember (stylist can update numbers if needed in store) So all stylist will know how you like your hair cut without having to wait on a certain stylist you have requested. Though I do understand that each stylist has their own technique to accomplish desired look.

I would like to see a feature of "whos working today". You could use first name only. I prefer a certain stylist and I have to call every time and see if hes working. If the workers were listed then I wouldnt have to call.

Mostly the times provided are accurate but occasionally you will arrive to a long wait time. Plan accordingly...

This app lets u check in, not make appointments. Great Clips doesnt actually make appointments. Waste of time, waste of energy. Makes me say forget it, Ill go anywhere other than great clips, too much hassle.
